- Raiding RFL Fair - Closing Ceremony
and Cheque Presentation to begin the Season!
The Dance Pit Raiders of Gor! have been performing for 4 years now. We begin the RFL Season by presenting a cheque, donating our tips to Relay For Life. This year we proudly presented a cheque to The Gorean RFL Team Captain at the En'kar fair for life closing ceremony. We will continue to dance, to make a difference throughout the years! I have witnessed their sacrafice and they dedication and i just want to say this is the honor of gor before us here and it we want you all to catch that same spirit and take it back to your sims with you as you alll plan your activities in the following months"

Greetings to everyone here today. Thank you for allowing the Dance Pit Raiders of Gor! to entertain. If one may just say a few words.. we have a little ceremony to perform. If all the raiders can be in the sands, the Raider Wrangler too... and finally we invite Mistress Kaiila in too!

A very special thank you ... to every Dance Pit Raider of Gor!, those that are here today and to the Group as a whole! Thank you to each raider for giving their time, talent, beauty and support. You have all made the Group the most wonderful place to be, filled with fun, laughter and above all support for each other. You all dance amazingly, spontaneously, to entertain and for a great cause - Relay For Life for the last 4 years!
Thank You to all the Owners of the girls for allowing them to dance with the Group.. and to my Master, for allowing His slave to 'raid' the Lands of Gor.. and for being our protector. All of them have given immense support to the group and we thank them from our hearts for that.
Over 4 years ago, the Dance Pit Raiders of Gor! were formed from an idea by 2 very mischievious kajirae, in the Village of Pembe, at the dance pit just outside the village tavern. We really did begin to ".. 'raid' across Gor in the middle of the night", finding sands to dance in. Spontaneously 'raiding' and scurrying home in the early hours.. hoping not too many 'scrolls' were sent to my Master when He woke up the following morning!
We did so adore the confused faces of Scarlets, Ubars and Citizens as a group of dancing kajirae "just landed and 'raided' their dance pits.... in the middle of the night". A few close calls with various City Magistrates and a lot of fun later.. we managed to recruit many wonderful dancers along the way. We now have an awesome group of dancers who serve through dance.
The dancers each give so much of themselves and in return we receive so much back in the joy of serving. The Dance Pit Raiders of Gor! - truly do "Dance .. to make a difference" .. dancing for free, to entertain the Free, asking for nothing except if they are found pleasing, their tips would go 100% to RFL.
Each Year we aim to spread awareness of RFL, to increase our donation from tips. Last year the DPRaiders collected $246,093 Lindens! We thank everyone that gave when we performed... "TOGETHER .. WE REALLY DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE".
This year we HOPE to dance.. for a CURE! 100 Years of Hope has brought much progress in the FIGHT against cancer. Our tradition is that we present a cheque at the beginning of RFL - knowing that we will continue to contribute throughout the year even more!
Our cheque is for $40,905L, added to the $20,000L from our last raid we have $60,905Lindens for RFL 2013 so far..... !! Plus those that gave today too! THANK YOU!
