2011 Dance Pit Raiders of Gor enter their 3rd Year!

2010 Continued onwards!

2010 continued onwards... with more and more Raids, lots of fun, mischief and of course donations to Relay for Life.  New dancers joined, some heard about the Raiders as our reputation spread across the Lands of Gor, some came to see us dance as we 'raided' their Cities.

The outpost of Laura - we helped the new opening ceremony

City of Venna received a couple of visits too!  Here in their sky ballroom before the Sim was rebuild...

Then as part of the Opening of the newly refurbished City celebrations.  An incredible suspended dance platform created a wonderful arena to dance upon!

The Dance Pit Raiders of Gor also got asked to "raid" various ceremonies and gatherings too!

Fort Sar!   The debut of one of our Raiders!  Tawny Braveheart began her broadcasting career So many Raiders lead exciting and talented SL lives.

City of Brundisium became a place to Raid, here we were invited to join in a day of Gorean culture and entertainment in their new Tavern...

Lands of Sabba : "hmmm, you may notice the lack of a roof in the pictures!  The Dance Pit Raiders of Gor! don't accept liabilitiy for bringing. the roof down on Raids!   In fact, that is always a bonus!  With all these hot, talented kajirae dancing.. all that heat certainly rises!  Perhaps we need to ask about buildings insurance before we Raid *winks*

Popped into Port Cos a few times, here was quite a line up!

Island of Cos next stop!  We were actually asked to perform here twice in one day.  As usual, the Dance Pit Raiders of Gor! delivered.  We did two great shows to cover different timezones in their famous multi- storey Tavern... (we believe the roof remained in tact.. perhaps due to the multi level design.. but we did heat it up that is for sure!)

Island of Cos - Warrior Day

this was a touching celebration and also very moving 'Raid' in honour of Warriors in SL and also those that serve RL to defend and protect across the World.  The dance reflected this theme, in scarlet silks, falling crimson petals and some extremely touching dances performed by the Raiders!

Then back..... to Port Cos, for their Merchant's Festival!  (we we fastly becoming quite infamous in the Ports and lands of Cos!)

Another interesting experience was the 'Raid' at Gor-Jus animations.  The launch of their new Gor-Jus Hud.. We have a GPR DJ, reading out our dance posts over the airwaves as we wrote them.  Here we also have a few new Raiders alongside us, but we all know. withing 10 minutes of a Raid.. they all begin to feel right at home with the wonderful group of awesome Raiders!

and finally... what do Raiders do in their spare time..... the next photo.. is a girls outing.. "shopping"

2010 - Another Great Year for the Dance Pit Raiders!

Into 2010, another great Year.  The Dance Pit Raiders of Gor! continued to grow in numbers, discovering wonderfully talented dancers that also want to dance to make a difference as we continued to raise funds for Relay for Life Cancer Research.

Our Poster was out there and bookings continued to grow.

So we began 'raiding' across the Cities of Gor, with more and more requests it became a lot of fun and of course more opportunities to spread awareness of what Relay for Life is about.  Awareness, support and of course donations to help contribute to the battle to find a cure.  The Dance Pit Raiders of Gor, giving their time and dancing from their hearts for a great cause!

"Sometimes it's important to check the dress theme BEFORE a raid!"

Avian Isles became a regular 'Raiding' destination. The first time was amusing as the Ubar was called to see a whole group of kajirae... raiding the City, taking over the sands!  If looks were golden coins... His face ..was priceless!

Then onto the City of Petra! for their "Kajuralia Festival"   We were asked to perform two days running in order to get the celebrations and .. mischief underway.... "Hmmmm wonder why they thought .. we were mischievious!"  It was lots of fun.  One of the days we performed with carnival masks at the request of the Ubar, so that day we could certainly add a little more mischief!"

Other worlds also became aware of the Raiders!  We even managed to Raid the Roman Empire!  Here we are 'raiding' the Empire of Cathage.
